Rahu is an airy planet, and so is the sign of Aquarius (an air sign). Aquarius is ruled by Saturn, which itself transits in the sign of Pisces. Pisces ruled the subconscious mind and world beyond physical reality.

Gemini ascendant: Rahu goes in the 9th house of your chart. Be careful with what you believe. This time may not be that favourable for you. You can easily get wrong guidance and may lack the wisdom to make good decisions. If you are pursuing a higher degree, then this transit can be beneficial for you.
Cancer ascendant: Rahu goes in the 8th house of your chart. A lot of mental ups and downs can be expected. You could obsess over your problems, especially chronic health issues.
